Party at the Banowsky's

Ryan and I had such a great time last night! My friend Caitlyn and her husband David invited us over for a party at their new house. It was the four of us and two other couples, Mandy and Leo and Sarah and Eric. We first got a tour of their home. They just bought it, so Caitlyn warned that there was still quite a bit they wanted to do to it, but it was lovely as is. It had so much charm and character!

Next we met their sweet puppy Linus and their current foster puppy Max.

This is baby Max. Isn't he just so cute?! He is a tiny, 10 week old puppy, who was just as sweet as he could be!

Next the guys mixed us up some drinks. I had a great blackberry margarita. In fact, I had a few great blackberry margaritas. The girls then sat and chatted for awhile and the guys set up a net in the backyard and hit some golf balls.

After just a little while, David jumped on the grill and grilled up some excellent meat for fajitas. They were tasty! After dinner, a game of washers ensued, soon to be followed by a couple games of Telestrations. Telestrations is a like a game of telephone mixed with drawing pictures. Pretty fun game, especially with eight of us.

Ryan and I had a great time and can't wait to have our house ready so that we can host parties of our own.

Tower of Terror 10 Miler 2012

So Ryan and I just signed up to run a 10 mile race on our Disney vacation. I don't know what I am thinking. Nothing about running says vacation to me. I guess it is really important to Ryan, so that is why I signed up. He keeps telling me I have plenty of time to train which, although true, I really have no motivation for. I like my 5ks and that's about it. This is more than three of those combined. I guess I am just praying I don't get picked up by the sag wagon. Here's to finishing the Tower of Terror 10-Miler. What did I get myself into?!

Check out our new Rychar Runners page for info on all of our running adventures past, present and future.

I Love Yogurtland

I love Yogurtland! Ryan took me today as a surprise! I had Kona Cofee, Pistachio, and Dulce de Licious yogurt. They were all yummy, but the Dulce de Licious was simply awesome! I also added Strawberry Popping Boba just to try them. I have never had boba tea, but I think I might like it because this boba was amazing! And then I threw in a few Frosted Animal Cookies, just because they are tasty. I love this place. Yum! What a great Saturday suprise!
