About two months ago, I bought a set of clubs and started going with Ryan to the driving range. I decided I liked golf and after going to the range about 10 times, it was time to take the plunge and play 18. We went to
Oakmont Country Club in Corinth. It was a really pretty course and there were even a couple of holes that I played pretty well. Since this is my first time to play a round of golf, I don't have a handicap yet, so I ended up shooting a 150. Considering that is 30 strokes under the maximum, I was actually pretty excited. I obviously still have a long way to go, but I am ready and willing to learn. Ryan shot a 113 and played pretty well. All in all, it was a fun day at the course!
